“I Love U” 是一首 upbeat 較為歡快的曲風。講述了在一段異地戀中遇到的問題，也因此與另一半分手的故事。歌詞表示了歌曲中的人如何感到沮喪，並希望還能與對方再一起。
歌曲的開頭跟中間採用了一段日語樣本，樣本來源於日本角色扮演扭蛋遊戲《碧藍幻想》(Granblue Fantasy) 中由 櫻綾音(Ayane Sakura) 配音的角色。
