Hayd 因為長年在與抑鬱症做抗爭，所以寫了很多 emo (情緒化) 的歌曲。這也是他抒發情緒的一種方式。
Hayd 說這首 “Lost” 是他在今年搬到洛杉磯後，在他遠離家人，朋友等熟悉的人事物，在他感到最孤獨，最無助的時候所寫得歌，是一種求助訊號。但他現在希望這首歌能成為那些孤獨的人的一盞明燈，因為你並不是一個人。
